All New UPACS Systems

At DOWPA, the forthcoming Unified Printer Access Compliance System (UPACS) is a groundbreaking initiative designed to simplify office printing by introducing a streamlined, 42-step authentication process. Under the new protocol, employees will first submit a Print Request Form (PRF-207B), obtain managerial approval, complete a brief online training on Paper Resource Optimization (PRO-91), and receive a unique One-Time Print Authorization Code (OTPAC) via fax. To enhance security, printers will now require a biometric scan, a CAPTCHA puzzle, and a notarized confirmation that your document does, in fact, require physical printing. While this system may take some getting used to, we believe it will ultimately increase efficiency once employees successfully navigate the mandatory two-week onboarding process.
